Cenariu guides

From installation to everyday work.

Start with your plugin’s free base, then explore the extra Pro features. Try changes on a test copy of your store first.

01 / Get started

Install Basic, then Pro.

  1. Check your hosting supports WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.1+ and WooCommerce. Purchasing also requires InnoDB tables; Purchasing Pro PDF generation requires PHP mbstring.
  2. Back up your store. Install and activate WooCommerce.
  3. In Plugins → Add New, search for Cenariu Supplier Import or Cenariu Purchasing. Install and activate the matching Basic plugin from WordPress.org.
  4. If you have the Pro package, upload it in the same way and activate it alongside Basic. Supplier Import Pro requires Supplier Import 0.9.14 or later; Purchasing Pro requires Purchasing extension API 1.
  5. Keep Basic active. Pro extends it rather than replacing it.

Commercial checkout and license activation are being prepared. Do not look for a license screen in existing builds that do not yet implement licensing.

02 / Supplier Import

Preview your first import.

  1. Open WooCommerce → Supplier Import for manual CSV imports, or Supplier Import Pro for Pro sources.
  2. Choose a product list. Start with a small CSV and unique SKUs. Pro also reads XML/JSON and direct public supplier links.
  3. Match the columns for SKU, product name, price and stock. Check pricing rules and which fields will be updated.
  4. Run the preview and inspect the proposed changes. Confirm only when the mapping and prices are correct.
  5. Monitor the batch progress and review the history after completion. New products are drafts.
Set up scheduled Pro updates

Save the supplier format, mapping, pricing rules and a direct public link. Explicitly enable the supplier schedule and choose 15 minutes, hourly, twice daily or daily. Future runs use the saved rules without a fresh manual preview. WordPress cron depends on site traffic; ask your host about a regular cron trigger when timing matters.

Supported data and troubleshooting

Supplier Import supports simple products matched by SKU, lists up to 5 MB and 5,000 products. Variations, images, categories and authenticated APIs are not included. A public link must return a product file rather than a login page. If an import fails, check the format, mapping, unique SKUs and history before retrying. Never send passwords or private supplier links in a support request.

03 / Purchasing

From purchase order to receipt.

  1. Open WooCommerce → Purchasing → Suppliers and create a supplier.
  2. On a stock-managed product, configure Inventory → Purchase / Supplier.
  3. Create a draft purchase order and add the products and quantities you intend to order.
  4. Review it and mark it sent. Creating or sending a purchase order does not increase stock.
  5. When goods arrive, confirm a receipt for only the quantity delivered now. Remaining quantities can be received later. Stock changes when you confirm the receipt.
What does Purchasing Pro add?

Set minimum order quantities and order multiples for simple products. Download purchase documents as Unicode PDFs. Review the recipient and document before manually confirming an email with its PDF attachment. Email-service acceptance does not guarantee inbox delivery. If an email attempt is uncertain, use the plugin’s recovery guidance before attempting another send.

Purchase costs and allocated acquisition expenses are tracked separately from your WooCommerce selling price.
